It's an eternal decision. This life on earth is temporary, but choosing to accept Jesus secures your eternal destiny in heaven with God.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Eternity is a long time - where you spend it matters immensely.

2. FORGIVENESS & NEW LIFE
It brings forgiveness and new life. Because of our sin, we are separated from a holy God. But Jesus' death on the cross paid the penalty for our sins. By placing our faith in Him, we receive complete forgiveness and are brought into right relationship with God as His adopted children (Romans 8:15-17). It's like being born again with a fresh start.
3. MEANING & PURPOSE
It gives your life meaning and purpose. Apart from God, life is ultimately meaningless. But in Christ, you discover the reason you were created - to know God, walk with Him, and participate in His redemptive work (Ephesians 2:10). Your life takes on profound significance.
4. STRENGTH
It provides strength for life's struggles. Jesus doesn't just save us from our sins; He walks alongside us through every joy and sorrow in this broken world (Matthew 28:20). He is our ever-present comforter, counselor, friend, provider, and source of peace and strength.
