Evangelism

HABITS OF GRACE – EVANGELISM (Acts 1:8)
Every believer is called and empowered by God to make
sharing Jesus a regular habit, not a rare event.
The Gospel spreads best through everyday believers
sharing Christ in everyday life.
SHARING BEGINS WITH A HEART
CAPTURED BY THE GOSPEL (v. 3)
Witnesses talk about what they have seen.
We speak about what excites us.
You don’t need all the answers to tell your story.
SHARING REQUIRES THE POWER
OF THE HOLY SPIRIT (vv. 4-5, 8)
Jesus never intended witnessing to happen
through guilt or human effort alone.
The greatest evangelist is a Spirit-filled believer.
SHARING REQUIRES A FOCUS ON
PEOPLE WHO NEED JESUS (vv. 6-8)
The disciples wanted to discuss prophecy.
Jesus redirected them toward people.
Sometimes Christians become fascinated
with everything except the mission.
Look for gospel opportunities right where you are.
SHARING IS FUELED BY THE RETURN OF JESUS (vv. 9-11)
Every person we meet is eternal.
The return of Christ should create holy urgency.
Can I Get A Witness?
Someone who regularly tells others what Jesus has done.
PRAY / LISTEN / EAT / SERVE / SHARE
