“I love being on the Midway Church staff because it’s more than a workplace of coworkers and acquaintances.  It’s a family who cares, encourages, and builds up one another.  My work at Midway Church is imbued with purpose, meaning, and fulfillment.  There’s no other place I would rather be that is as rich and rewarding as Midway Church!”

Adam - Life Groups and Discipleship Pastor

Midway Church was started 40 years ago by five families with a passion to see their community come to Christ. Our heart for the gospel permeates every aspect of our ministry (now our average attendance is over 800): Our heart’s desire is to Help People Live Fully for God as we:

  • CONNECT to Him in spiritual life, discipleship, and to others in biblical community.

  • GROW daily in our personal devotion and commitment to Kingdom life.

  • SERVE others with our time, talents, and treasure.

  • GO out into our community and the world with the good news of the gospel.

We strive to be lovingly truthful, intentionally relational, great neighbors to all, committed to prayer, celebrate life change, and worship joyfully.

“Our church culture values children and families by delivering an awesome, welcoming experience every time we walk through the doors, planning events and supporting small groups for families and by creating a fun environment for my kids to learn God’s Word!”

Located at 9540 US-377, Midway Church sits midway between the communities of Aubrey and Pilot Point (see what we did there?). The community has grown to become one of the USA’s premier equine epicenters. Situated just one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, this growing community still has its roots in agriculture with a contemporary feeling. Midway has great relationships in the community with open doors into the schools, the civic arena, local businesses, and area churches. This ties directly into one of our values – We are good neighbors to all.

God has called us to ensure that every person in our sphere of influence has an opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel. This drives us to be intentional with our programming and outreach. From an early age, we instill a love for Jesus and God’s Word into children’s lives. We partner with parents to keep Christ the central part of homes, and we connect intentionally in our community to make this a part of our everyday DNA.

Our ministry team is made up of people who love God and want to fulfill their calling by serving together to accomplish great things. We are looking for ministry team members who have this same heart to join us.

“Be a part of a culture that embraces building God’s kingdom in an environment that encourages your feedback and support! Every member on staff is valued and treated as such ensuring we all have a vital role to play in shaping the vision here at Midway Church.”

“Midway Church believes no child is too young to have a relationship with Christ. My child loved her time in the children's ministry. I could see the growth in her faith and understanding of the Bible.  I was confident that the volunteers and staff were preparing her for a lasting relationship with Christ.”

Angela – a Midway parent and staff member

“Midway children’s ministry has been important to my family because it's a fun place to spend intentional time with my children and their friends while instilling biblical truths into their hearts and minds. We look forward to spending time without distractions and focus on growing our knowledge and relationships with Christ.”
