The Process
EXPLORE
The Purpose of the New Leader Training (NLT) Process is to help people explore a possible call to be a Group Leader with Midway Church. It is an open hand opportunity to explore if a person is called to be a Group Leader without any obligation to lead a group.
DETAILS
NLT is a 5 month process in a small group setting of 8 to 12 people where discussion is centered around what a Healthy Group is and is not, and how to lead a Healthy Group. Specific details on each of the 5 trainings are listed below with a description:

Anyone is welcome to go through the New Leader Training Process to explore what God may be calling them to in service

WHEN DOES IT START?
Typically, we start a new cohort of New Leader Trainings 2 to 3 times a year in Spring, Summer, and Fall
FREQUENCY?
Once a Month for a 2 Hour in Person Training on the topics listed below
Assessment
Assessment form
Once you have decided to explore your call to potentially lead at Midway, you will be sent an assessment form to fill out & send back. The purpose of this is not to accept or deny, but simply to assess how we can best equip you through the training
NLT #1
HEalthy Groups
Once you complete & send back your assessment, you will be scheduled for your first 2 hour in person New Leader Training. We will send you a short introductory video with a fill in the blanks PDF to complete
NLT #2
Purpose of Connect
Prior to the next 2 hour in person training, you will receive an 11 minute video training with a downloadable fill in the blanks PDF through the Midway Church website. The video training will prepare you for what we'll discuss when we meet in person
NLT #3
Purpose of grow
Again, 1 week prior to the in person NLT #3, you will receive a 6 minute video training with a downloadable fill in the blanks PDF. The video training will prepare you for what we'll discuss when we meet in person
NLT #4
PUrpose of Serve
Again, 1 week prior to the in person NLT #4, you will receive an 11 minute video training with a downloadable fill in the blanks PDF. The video training will prepare you for what we'll discuss when we meet in person

Purpose of Go
Lastly, 1 week prior to the in person NLT #5, you will receive a 17 minute video training with a downloadable fill in the blanks PDF to complete. The video training will prepare you for what we'll discuss when we meet for the final in person training
