YOUNG ADULTS MINISTRY INTERNSHIP
We are excited to be a part of your story and what God is doing in your life and through this internship we want to pour into you as an individual, as a leader, and as a Christ follower. We’ll do this through weekly staff meetings where you will hear practical leadership lessons from all of our staff and then we want to give you practical tools and resources that we walk you through to be a skilled effective spiritual leader in whatever capacity you serve at Midway. We want to hone in on your passion and maximize your talents to be able to serve the Young Adults Ministry here at Midway Church. Helping People: Live fully for God.
WHO IS THIS INTERNSHIP FOR?
This internship is for anyone 18-30 who desire to grow in their leadership, faith, interpersonal relationships, and desired expertise. This internship is NOT limited to people looking to go into full-time ministry--our goal is to use this internship to build a love for the church while propelling you towards the occupation God has for you.
WHAT DOES THIS INTERNSHIP LOOK LIKE?
This is a 10 week internship with a commitment of 10 hours a week. 60% of this internship will be focused on serving the Young Adults Ministry using your gifts & talents. The rest of your time will be spent on personal, leadership, and team development through weekly intern staff meetings, weekly mentor meetings, and investment from the staff and seasoned leaders.
WHY BECOME AN INTERN?
This internship program gives leaders the opportunity to actively explore and receive training in vocational ministry. Our hope is to prepare and send out emerging leaders to make Jesus known in a variety of contexts. Interns will be receiving practical ministry training as well as Bible training throughout their service to prepare and equip them for ministry and in their careers. The valuable experience and opportunities that interns receive will help shape them in their lifelong journey to live fully for God and make Jesus known.
